Open Development Environment

Open Development Environment is a philosophy we have created over the years. We will attempt to share with you the value of this philosophy and how it benefits both your company and our company.

Traditional web development firms come in for a few meetings and then run off only to return with a great deal of work done that may not be what you as the client had in mind. This generally makes web development firms a great deal of money - but wastes your time.

With every project we complete, we try to find new ways to include the client in every step of the process.

One example of this is our Site Tracker set up. This gives you access to the actual site as we build it. When we change a color, or add some text, you can see it instantly. If something is heading in a direction you have concerns with - tell us. That way before spending a lot of time going down the wrong path, we can instantly correct and move forward down the right path.

For clients that we do content management for, we arrange direct access into our issue tracking system - allowing submission of problems, requests, etc instantly. From that point on you are kept up to date automatically on the progress of your request.

Another side of this is telling a customer when they are wrong. We don't know your business better than you - and we won't presume to do so. But sometimes a client can have a misconception about what the internet can do for them. We could say "sure" and let the client wander down a long billable path that leads to nowhere. But we don't - we will work to educate, explain better avenues of attack and hope we can find a useful way to help you.

These are just some of the ways that we try to partner with a client, instead of just working for them.
